4 Black Belts in 1 day for Murakwai!

Congratulations to: Alan Kerr, Ian Mitchell, Joe Frey and Abdul Mohamed

All 4 fighters fought extremely well to earn the grade of 1st Dan – Black Belt.
Alan, Joe and Abdul all achieved their Black Belts by winning ‘line-ups’ obtaining the required 50 points in one day.  They all had to win 2 fights by Ippon (10 points) to earn a line-up and then they won their line-ups by defeating 3 people one after the other all by the maximum Ippon Score.

Ian Mitchell went into the Grading requiring 23 more points to obtain his Black Belt which got in some style with by far the biggest Ippon of the day throwing one of his opponents with his trademark te-guruma almost knocking himself out in the process!! Congratulations to all Murakwai Judo Players who took part in the grading!
