Northern Ireland has selected 15 players to represent the Federation at the 2009 UK School games in Cardiff & Swansea, 5 of these players are from Murakwai.   Lucinda Bell has been selected for the 3^rd year in a row at 52kgs; Lucinda will be looking to add to her 2 bronzes medals won in the previous Games.  Both Kirsty & Jodie Kee have been selected at 48kgs, Jodie will be making her debut at the Games while her sister Kirsty will be looking to better her bronze medal from the previous year.  Abdul Mohamed has been selected and will make his debut at this year’s event in the under 60kg category after narrowly missing out on selection last year.  Finally, in the u73kgs Alan Kerr has been selected again for his 2nd appearance at the UK School Games.

Scott Mayne & Michaela Fox will be 2 of the coaches looking after the team again this year.
