13 players from Murakwai competed at the Neil Adams Classic at the Meadowbank Sports Stadium in Edinburgh yesterday. We won 4 Golds, 1 Silver, 2 Bronzes, & had 1 5th place finish & 2 7th place finishes.

Unfortunately the competition was so oversubscribed (over 500 entries) that they were forced to cancel the 1st kyu and Masters events meaning that Rory Kelly & James McCullough didn’t get to fight at all! The Golds were won by Iain Kelly, Olga Lyashevska, Kirsty Kee & Scott Mayne, the Silver was won by Cameron Kelly, and the Bronzes were won by Daniel Mayhew & Robyn Kelly. Conor Kelly won 2 fights and finished in 5th place, Chris Connolly won 3 fights and finished 7th, Alan Kerr had 1 win (& 10 points) and also finished 7th. Both Kirsty Kee & Jodie Kee earned the required points for their Black Belts! Kirsty got her last 30 points while Jodie got her last 10!
