Murakwai had 12 players competing for their club & school at the Ulster Schools Champioships held in Glengormley High School.  We won 6 Golds, 2 Silvers, 2 Bronzes and had 2 5th place finishes.  A big thank you to Hazama Judo Club for hosting a fantastic event, a great day was had by all!

 Our 6 golds – 3 in the Minors – Alex Kelly (u24kgs) Cameron Kelly (+45kgs) & Oliver Fleetham (u41kgs), 2 in the Cadets – Daniel Mayhew (u55kgs) & Robyn Kelly (u44kgs) and 1 in the Juniors – Rory Kelly (u66kg). The 2 Silvers were won by Tori Kee in the Minors (u36kg) and James Kennedy in the Juniors (u73kg), the 2 Bronzes were both won in the Minors by Faye Nixon (u30kg) and Conor Kelly (u41kg). Both Daniel Hodgett (u41kg) and Matthew Fleetham (u37kg) narrowly missed out on Bronze medals finishing in 5th place.
