Well done to everyone who fought today & good luck to Conor, Kiah & Daniel who fight tomorrow.
Cameron Kelly has become the first Judo Player ever from Northern Ireland to win the Junior British Championships! Cameron claimed Gold in Pre-Cadet Boys (12 & 13 year olds) under 60kg category. This is Cameron’s 2nd British Championship medal (and Murakwai’s 7th in recent years) as he claimed Bronze in the same event 2 years ago. Daniel Mayhew also performed well winning 3 fights at his first British Championships, finishing up in 7th place. James Reid & Robyn Kelly completed Murakwai’s line-up on Day one. Good luck to Jodie Kee who fights tomorrow.
